Delivery of 19 Meters Steel Pilot Boat built by A. H. Wadia Boat Builders under 'Make in India' Program
Gujarat: A. H. Wadia Boat Builders has delivered one 19 meters Pilot Boat on 1st Feb 2022 to ABS Marine for operation at Chennai Port Trust.
The boat is classed with Indian Register of Shipping, fulfilling requirements of RSV Type 4 of MS Act. It has spacious complements for 6 Pilots + 8 Crew.
Powered by Twin Diesel Engines with Conventional drive propellers, the vessel was able to achieve speeds above 20 knots.
This boat can carry out its duties in rough weather efficiently. Its wide and adequate deck area makes Pilot embarking safe. It is also equipped with equipment for multi role capabilities, such as Patrolling and security, Firefighting and Oil Spill Control.

Designed and Built by A H Wadia Boat Builders, Bilimora promoting Make in India.
Previously, two vessels “ABS Dhruva” and “ABS Danika” with same specifications were delivered to the same owners for operation in Kamarajar Port Trust in March 2021.
